  • Isaiah 38 - Extension of Hezakiah's Life - 32x39

A metaphore on Isaiah 38. King Hezakiah is near death of illness after the seige ends. Being righteous, he prays at his window and pleads with the Lord. Isaiah comes with the reply (edited for brevity):

5 ..Thus saith the Lord, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria.

7 And this shall be a sign from the Lord,  8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees.

The change made the day 20 minutes shorted, the year 360 days and 12 months of 30 days. The calendars of all cultures were changed.
